Плохой пенни всегда проявится (A bad penny always turns up, анг.) — английская пословица, означающая: 1) То, что сделано плохо, обязательно проявится и обернется проблемами; 2) Если есть что-либо плохое, то оно обязательно проявится в самое неподходящее время.
Пенни — это мелкая разменная монета.
В английском языке применяется выражение "bad penny", означающее — то (тот), что является нежелательным, неприятным, с чем (с кем) не хочется встречаться, общаться.
